In the General Settings, you can specify the expiration date for your proposal links. The link expiration defaults to 30 days but can be set in your Management Portal for a period between 1 and 365 days. Once the expiration date is reached, your customers will no longer be able to view online proposals.
Recommendation: Your customer may have a printed or PDF copy of the proposal, so the online link expiring doesn’t make the proposal invalid. For clarity, include the proposal's expiration date in the final notes or Terms & Conditions.
The expiration date can be adjusted directly in the app if needed. The proposal expiration date appears in the app in the signature tab Status section when the quote has been validated.
The "Valid Thru" date can be updated to meet your customer's needs in the app.
- For quicker decisions: Shorten the "Valid Thru" date to create urgency and encourage a timely close. Example: Customer takes advantage of a weekend promotion.
- For extended consideration: Lengthen the "Valid Thru" date to provide the customer with more time if needed. Example: Customer traveling or unavailable for a specific period.
How to Update the Date:
- Navigate to the Signature tab Status Section
- Select the new date from the calendar
