In what order are multiple discounts applied?

Total Product Discount - Use this field to apply discounts that will appear on the customers proposal.

• Touch the word Discount to open the Discounts pane.

Use the discount field to enter Discounts and Instant Rebates. 

Discounts and Instant Cash Rebates entered here will be applied to the total price.  (Suggested Retail Price, Finance Price with Discount, and the Cash Price with Discount fields) 

• All $ amounts are deducted from the total price first
• Percentages are applied AFTER the $ amounts are deducted from the total price.

% discounts will be converted to a $ amount after "Save".

Percentages are applied to the remaining balance from top to bottom (discounts first, then instant rebates, last, and in the same order as shown on the popup). 

Additional percentage discounts are calculated on the running balance, not the original total price.

In the example below the discounts and rebates would be applied in the following order:
