Manage Custom Settings - Set Company defaults for Payment Options

App Managers may set company defaults for the payment labels, sort order and footnotes in the Payment Options section of the Management Portal Custom Settings.

Cash Settings

Payment Label Default: "Balance" ($ xxx Balance)

• Examples:
• Cash or Check
• Cashier's Check Only
• Cash/Check/Credit Card
• Label payment to match your business model

Compare Default

• Default: Cash Price only displays when selected in the app
• Cash Price will auto select as a payment option comparison in the app when this box is checked.

Limited Compare

• If this setting is checked, Cash Price cannot be compared with other payment types on the same option that also have this setting checked.
• Example: Any payment type that has this box checked means the user can only pick one from that group, to show in the comparison. You may want to use this feature when 0% APR programs have different dealer fees.

Compare - Sorting

• Default: Cash first, then finance programs
• Default: Finance payments high to low
• Show the lowest monthly payment first – best if you typically “sell the payment” rather than the paid-in-full price

Footnotes

• Finance Program Footnote
  • Default: Estimate, approval required. Payment terms are determined by your selected financial partner
• Lease Program Footnote
  • Default: Discount applied to the total value of the system, not the monthly payment.
• If you don't want a footnote, enter "NONE".
