When there is a failure sending a proposal to Service Titan, we retry sending proposals after 1 minute, then 2 minutes, and so on up to 1 hour. If no trial is successful we will send an email containing the line items we tried to send. You will have the information if you need to enter it manually into ServiceTitan when it is back up and running.
Alternatively, you can resend the original proposal to Service Titan, once the Sales Builder Pro Service Titan connection failure has been resolved.
The original proposal will need to be overwritten with a new company signature.
- Search for the original proposal on the SBP app using the Search menu option.
- On the signature tab, the sales rep should click "Sign" on the company line to enter a new signature on the proposal.
- Click the back button after signing, to trigger an immediate send to Service Titan.
Advantage: It keeps your customer's signature intact in case they already signed the proposal.
Disadvantage: It will overwrite your sales rep's signature & change the timestamp of the signature shown on the PDF. So it won't match whatever version of the proposal was emailed to your customer already.
You will also lose the original copy of the PDF this way since this would overwrite the original version.
