Some contractors have reported an issue in the app, where they get a popup saying "authorization has been denied for this request."
This issue has arisen when a contractor has not completely logged out of the app for over a year.
To fix the issue, simply, completely log out of the app.
> Scroll to the bottom of the Navigation menu and select Log-out.
If you are unable to open the navigation menu, tap "OK" or "close" or tap outside of any popup that is showing before trying to click the navigation menu.
Still, having trouble?
- Turn off wifi. Then "force quit" the app (not a regular close). Apple Support article - Quit and reopen an app on iPad.
- Re-open the app. If there are any popups, close them all.
- Then click the navigation menu, then logout.
- Turn wifi back on and then log in.
We do NOT recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app. There is a risk of losing SBP data that has not been sent to the cloud. If the app has data that needs to be sent to the cloud, a message will appear in the View Schedule view; "Send Offline Data" appears in the top right. If this message appears do NOT uninstall the app. If the message does not appear you may uninstall and reinstall the app to fix this issue.
If you are still arrived at a job, you should not uninstall - since proposals don't try to go to the server until job completion.
